Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of ateliernoro.com (the “Site”). By accessing the Site, you agree to them.
1. Site publisher
The Site is published by Atelier Noro S.E.N.C., a general partnership registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec under Québec enterprise number (NEQ) 3378290798, with its head office in Châteauguay (Quebec), Canada (“Noro”, “the house”, “we”, “us”). To contact us: bonjour@ateliernoro.com.
2. Purpose of the Site
The Site presents the house, its way of working, and its writings (Le Carnet). It also allows visitors to request a meeting. No services are sold or contracted online: every engagement is subject to a discussion, a proposal, and a separate agreement.
3. Intellectual property
The entire Site — including its text, visual identity, logos, trademarks, photographs, illustrations, videos, structure, and code — is owned by Noro or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Noro’s trademarks and distinctive signs, whether registered or not, may not be used without its prior written consent.
You may browse the Site and quote brief excerpts, provided that you credit the source and link to the original page. Any other reproduction, extraction, distribution, or adaptation, in whole or in part, requires our prior written consent.
4. Permitted use
You agree to use the Site in good faith and not to:
- access it through automated means for the purpose of substantially extracting its content;
- interfere with its operation or attempt to access non-public sections;
- use it for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of third parties;
- impersonate the house or its founders.
5. Le Carnet and the nature of the information
Content published on the Site, particularly in Le Carnet, is provided for general informational purposes. It does not constitute professional advice tailored to a specific situation and does not create a mandate or professional-client relationship. Any decision made in reliance on this content remains your responsibility.
6. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. We have no control over these sites and assume no responsibility for their content or practices.
7. Availability and changes to the Site
We may modify, suspend, or remove all or part of the Site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
8. Liability
The Site is provided as is. Although we take care in preparing its content, we do not guarantee its ongoing completeness or accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, Noro shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Artificial intelligence in the workplace
The atelier employs artificial intelligence tools in its work: to explore, test hypotheses, accelerate certain analyses, and achieve what a two-person household could not achieve alone. This use stems from the same curiosity that guides its practice—seeing what the tool can do, rather than sticking to what was done before.
Three rules govern it. Strategic and creative decisions belong to the founders and are never delegated to a tool. Anything delivered to the client is reviewed, verified, and endorsed by atelier, regardless of its origin. A client's confidential information is not entered into a tool without their written consent.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute relating to the Site falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Quebec.
11. Updating the conditions
We may amend these terms. The version in effect is the version published on this page, together with its date. Continued use of the Site following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
